By making diabetes information accessible and engaging, GlucoCare empowers individuals and communities with practical knowledge to understand risk factors, adopt healthier lifestyles, and take greater ownership of their health.
Move-Imagine-Connect
iVibe is an inclusive dance initiative founded to empower children with disabilities through movement, creativity, and connection. Through community partnerships and workshops reaching audiences locally and internationally, iVibe creates welcoming spaces where children can experience the joy and benefits of dance. Its programs use movement to promote inclusion, self-expression, confidence, and well-being while bringing together children of diverse abilities through a shared love of dance.
Local Hospital Volunteering
Clinical Volunteer at WellStar North Fulton, gaining firsthand exposure to patient care and hospital operations. The experience included transporting patients, preparing procedure supplies, and observing emergency care and clinical workflows. This opportunity provided valuable insight into compassionate patient care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and the coordination required to deliver safe and effective healthcare.
Global Clinical Experience & Healthcare Service
Supported clinical operations at a Dr. Sundarajan Multi-Speciality Hospital in India, gaining firsthand exposure to healthcare delivery in an international setting. Through shadowing healthcare professionals, assisting with clinic activities, and observing patient care, the experience provided valuable insight into different healthcare environments and strengthened Genova’s global perspective on community health, accessibility, and compassionate care.
Guided physiotherapy sessions at Pixie by SKS Hospitals, Salem-India, gaining firsthand exposure to therapeutic approaches for children with special needs. Building on this experience, she led a dance-based mobility workshop designed to encourage movement, engagement, and self-expression. The experience strengthened Genova’s understanding of how inclusive, movement-based activities can complement community wellness initiatives.

Internship at Werfen, gaining exposure to the development of autoimmune diagnostics from research through laboratory testing. The experience provided insight into diagnostic technologies, laboratory processes, and how scientific testing supports clinical decision-making, strengthening Genova’s perspective on the connection between biomedical research, diagnostic innovation, and improved healthcare outcomes.
Connecting Students to Healthcare Opportunities
Served as HOSA LifeMatch Committee Head of Research, expanding student access to healthcare and medical opportunities. By developing a centralized database of scholarships, physician shadowing, research experiences, and volunteer opportunities, the initiative helped students discover meaningful pathways into healthcare while promoting early exposure to medicine, research, and community service.
Innovating Early Cancer Detection Through AI
Developed an AI-based breath model using volatile organic compound (VOC) biomarkers to explore accessible glioblastoma detection. Presented at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair, the research earned State 3rd Honors, advancing Genova’s focus on combining biomedical research, artificial intelligence, and innovative technology to explore more accessible approaches to early disease detection.
